  • PLEASE NOTE - CONCORDE CHASE 27th JAN - THERE ARE NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY (No EOD)

    Please Note there will be no entires on the day (EOD) for the Concorde Chase on Sunday 27th January.

    This is due to security restirctions imposed by the Army.

    If you do not enter (by 24th January), you will be refused entry to the event.

  • Change of BKO Webmaster

    In view of my departure from these shores in the very near future, I have resigned as webmaster and I've handed webmastering over to Andy Parry, who I'm sure will do a very good job. Please note that Andy will have the email address - messages specifically directed at myself should be sent to

  • Club Nights 9 and 16 Jan 2013 - Event Safety Workshop

    The first two club nights of 2013 will be the Event Safety workshop.

    There won't be any other training available these evenings as I will be running the workshop and Jason will be attending.

  • BKO Club Championships 2012

    This event used the BADO event at Chawton Forest Park near Alton. A relatively small group of BKO members attended the event but nevertheless has produced some worthy champions. For Seniors, the system used takes a competitors ranking points scored at the event and divides this by their current average BOF ranking score, expressing the resulting value as a percentage.

  • Orienteering and Ash dieback disease

    Ash dieback disease has become of increasing concern to those managing our woodlands, as you will have seen in the media.

  • Club Night 31st October - a Night Event

    As next week is half term and our regular juniors will be away Jason was going to plan a night event. However we have been offered the chance to go to a "real" event at Congo Stream & Henley Gate (close to Mytchett, south of Frimley). So we will not be using the school next week and will instead go to this night event.

  • BKO Club Championships - 18th November

    The BKO Club Championships will be held at the BADO Event at Chawton Park Woods, near Alton, on Sunday 18th November. For full details of the event see http://www.bado.org.uk/20121118.html. Pre-entries close on Wednesday 14th November but there will also be very limited entry on the day.

  • Club Juniors do well at the Yvette Baker Trophy

    Yesterday saw our BKO juniors competing in the Yvette Baker Trophy Round at Kings Wood near High Wycombe.
    It was a close run thing and it saw our juniors coming third and very close to the top two teams (HH and SN) and wew were well ahead of GO and TVOC.?
