Permanent Course Opening Event - 12th May 2007 - Langley Park, Slough
BKO, in conjunction with the mapper, Andrew Chalmers of TVOC and the Friends of Langley Park (http://www.friendsoflangleypark.co.uk/) have developed a new permanent Orienteering Course at Langley Park.
There will be an opening event on Saturday, May 12th between 10 A.M and 2 P.M. Maps will be provided free of charge on the day. BKO will be present to help launch the course and to help explain Orienteering to those interested. The Saturday event which was to have been held on this Saturday has been replaced by this opening event.
Come along and have a go. Langley Park is a very pleasant mixture of parkland and woodland *somewhat brambly) with a complex path network.
Langley Park is on the south side of the A412 (near Black Park). The Car Park is at grid reference TQ 016821
