Berkshire Orienteers ran the schools orienteering event at the Berkshire Youth Games, held at Bulmershe School in Wokingham earlier today.

41 teams from each of the 7 Schools/Sports partnerships took part, with Radstock School, Wokingham winning and a closely fought battle for 2nd, 3rd and 4th places between Pangbourne and St Nicolas School from West Berkshire and Trevelyan School from Windsor.

It was great to see so many children enjoying themselves at the event, held over two rounds of occasionally tricky courses through the school playing fields.

A team of BKO volunteers ran the event, which was planned by Tim Booth and organised by Denise Harper. We hope to see many of you at the British Schools Championships in November.
