It was another relatively small turnout of BKO members at the GO event recently. We had no Improvers at all taking part, which is slightly surprising. I hope you all found it a good occasion, despite the poor weather. The PPS scores seem quite high, with half the scorers gaining over 97%, thus helping their ranking total. That’s good to see. Well done to Doug, who has been showing good consistency recently. It’s also nice to see Fiona turning in a really good performance, just eclipsing Ian Cooper’s fast time. The League results are beginning to consolidate, and Doug’s good performances have now moved him sharply to the top of the League. Leading scores in the League are now:

With Alan Jones not participating at this event, the Performance Cup will now stay on my sideboard, as no-one completed all three rounds. Must do better in the Autumn!
The workbook of the results and League standings is attached. The three sheets show PE5 results, League standings after five events, and the full Spring 2012 results to date.
There’s quite a long break now before our next Performance Event, which will be the BADO Regional Event on April 1st. Let’s hope for a larger turnout there than at the last two events.
