Berkshire Orienteers are holding a new season of low key Saturday events during the winter months. There will be approximately one event each month, the first being on Saturday 25th September and going through to May 2011. Beginners, improvers, Youth League members and anybody else who wants a run are welcome to come.
For all Saturday events, registration is open from 10a.m. to 11a.m., with starts from 10.30a.m. to 11.30a.m. Courses are normally White, Yellow, Orange and Light Green. Sometimes a blue course is also offered if the area will support it - please check individual events for confirmation. Please contact Glenn Wass - - for more details if necessary.
Please could organisers of any groups of 5 or more who will be attending a Saturday event contact the organiser on with approximate numbers on each course by 5pm on the preceding Thursday.
This is to ensure there is enough time before the Saturday event to print sufficient maps for everyone, without them having to wait for maps to become available when demand exceeds supply.
The cost of Saturday events is £4.00 for Seniors and £2.00 for Juniors. There is a discount of £1 for BKO/BO members. Emit Hire is £1 per card for Seniors.
