The final pre-entry date for the Scottish 6-Day orienteering festival, Highland 2015, is 30 June and there are already over 5000 entries!! The week (2-8 August) is based on Inverness and is running in parallel with this year's World Orienteering Championships. There may be entry on the day but at a higher fee. 23 BKO members are already entered and heading north for the event.

Saturday 4th July - Summer Parks Challenge
The third of our summer parks/urban events is taking place this Saturday in East Woodley. The event assembly is in Ashenbury Park. The Short course remains in the Park and the adjacent small area of woodland but the Medium and Long courses also head out and use the modern Woodley Airfield housing estate. This provides small areas of open parkland with a network of cul-de-sacs and footpaths. All are welcome and the event will be a great opportunity for newcomers to give the sport a try. Saturday 18th July – Summer Parks Challenge and 25th Anniversary Picnic
The final Summer Parks event takes us back to Bracknell and will be based in South Hill Park. To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the club adopting the name ‘Berkshire Orienteers’, we will be hosting a picnic in the Park after the event. Please put this in your diary and come and join us. Summer Training - Wednesday Evenings
Although the BKO training has now finished for this summer, there are still 2 Southern Navigator sessions left to which BKO members are invited. The one tomorrow (1st July) is at Bagshot Heath and the following one (8th July) is an evening urban event at Chobham. Sunday 5th July - TVOC SCOA League Event
The final SCOA League event of the 2014-15 season takes place this Sunday at Great Hampden, near Princes Risborough. Pre-entry has been left open or you should be able to enter on the day.
