Location

Rushall Woods is situated W of Junction 12 of the M4.  

Parking is along a quiet lane - Burnt Hill Road at RG7 6DX, SU567735, what three words trapdoor.having.mountains.

Due to narrow lanes please arrive from north via Yattendon Lane, then turning right onto Burnt Hill Road.

Please do NOT approach along Scratchface Lane

Terrain The Rushall Wood area is mixed commercial woodland interspersed with open areas and a few dwellings. The Westernmost area is runnable sloping woodland changing to slow run at the southern end. The central area is generally runnable with several re-entrants and open areas. The eastern area is flatter with several areas of recent tree felling which is still taking place at the very eastern extremity. Throughout the area are several significant expanses of undergrowth which are best avoided
